Is Givehood really free?
Yes. Free to download, free to list, free to swap, gift, and chat. No fees on sales either — when money changes hands between two parents, every cent stays with you.
How is this different from Facebook Marketplace or Kijiji?
Givehood is built for one specific thing: families sharing kids' items close to home. No randoms shipping from across the country, no off-platform DMs, no marketplace noise. Just parents on your block.
What if I don't have anything to give right now?
That's fine — receive freely. The whole point is the cycle: today you take a snowsuit, in six months you pass on the ride-on car. You'll have your turn.
Is my home address shared?
Never publicly. You set a radius and a rough pickup area. Exact details are only revealed in chat, and only when you both agree on a meeting spot.

Can I sell more expensive things — strollers, cribs, bikes?
Absolutely. Set a fair price, post real photos, meet locally. We don't take a cut and we don't hold your money.
How do you keep things safe?
